No founder builds alone here.

Running a company is lonely. Your team looks to you for answers, and there is no one to think out loud with. Outperform Ventures is built so founders never carry that alone: operators who have built companies themselves, in the work with you every week.

What we look for

Four values decide who fits.

The same four values run the studio and decide who joins it, on the studio team or at the head of a company we build.

  1. 01

    Take ownership

We own outcomes, not tasks. We take responsibility instead of waiting for instructions. We don't build excuses, we build companies.

  2. 02

    Default to action

We bias toward movement, not meetings. We push work forward, not sideways. Long discussions and consensus building slow the work down.

  3. 03

    Create leverage

We care about outcomes that scale. Code that compounds. Growth loops that sustain themselves. Products that generate revenue while you sleep.

  4. 04

    Win together

We don't hoard credit, we hoard impact. When a venture succeeds, everyone who helped shares in the upside.

The DNA we look for.

Three signals matter more to us than any title. If they sound like you, we want the introduction.

  1. 01

    You have a track record

You have shipped product, grown revenue, or built systems that outlasted the quarter. You are in the work, not near it.

  2. 02

You would rather build than manage

You prefer executing to managing. Titles matter less to us than what you have shipped.

  3. 03

    You go deep somewhere

You are genuinely strong in one of the four disciplines the studio runs on, capital, engineering, growth, or creative, or in an industry you know cold.

Operators run what we build.

The studio does not only hire for itself. Every company Outperform Ventures builds needs someone to run it, and that person almost always comes out of the industry rather than out of the studio. Deep expertise in a market, and the conviction to spend years inside it, is the thing we look for hardest and the thing we can least manufacture ourselves.

So look at what the studio is building. If one of those companies is the one you would want to run, or you can see the wedge we have not built yet, tell us. That introduction is worth making well before there is a role attached to it.

Introduce yourself anyway.

No formal resume required. Send your LinkedIn, your GitHub, or a note about what you want to build. Whether that means a seat in the studio or running a company we build, we will figure out where you fit.
